Our Web site's purpose is to present an impression of life at St. Aelred's - a very challenging task. Our College fosters initiative and encourages people to make responsible decisions about their work and make St. Aelred's a place of effective learning.

We give prominence to our Mission Statement, formulated after careful discussion by Governors, Parents, Teachers and Ancilliaries. To be successful, we must know what we want to achieve.

St. Aelred's welcomes Parents, giving them many opportunities to meet and work with the Teachers, all carefully appointed by the Governors for their teaching skills, academic ability and commitment to the School's vision. They are our greatest asset. As a Catholic Technology College we set ourselves the highest standards of effort and achievement, rooted in a Christian understanding of community.
